I didn't see the pics originally posted however I find that often people take pictures of fish with their arms straight out as Catmaster did in his pictures making the fish look bigger than they acutally are. Putting the fish further away from our bodies make the fish look bigger. It's a simple optical illusion. My guess is that's why Catmaster feels like fish look bigger.
