with my recipie, I have not used a measuring device ever,
I gestimate all my measurements, the most important is the flower to corn meal mix wich is 4 parts flower to 1 part corn meal mix, and it dosnt have to be exact, a little bit eather way wont make a whole lot of differance, I have one buddy who omits the corn meal all together.
the other ingredient is the water, that is why I say run one peice though the fryer and then to a taist test to make any ajustments, more flower or more water to get the concistancy you desire.
you can even omit the salt and put it on after its been fryed and drained or allow your guest to put their own salt on to their taist.
It is pretty a cant miss recipie.
Omit every thing but the flower salt and water, and make it thick, you can drop blobs in to boiling chicken broth and you have dumplings.[:p]
