You can run a prop boat all the way up to eagle rock without much problem but you have to be careful the last 3 blocks or so if the water is low. I have seen several places on the way up towards eagle rock that i think would be good. If you want to get serious about sturgeon fishing maybe look at the hagerman or bliss area not much further and quite a few big fish. even buggs hole below twin is good fishing. I have used trout smelt pickled herring squid crappie crawdads but my favorite is big old night crawler threaded on. you get hits from other fish too but when all the other baits fail that will get you a fish. Dont be afraid to set the hook on little nibbles for a fish so big and in heavy current i have no idea how they can be so delicate
