Put one lower end of the slot cutt on the ice mid morning before the wind picked up just after lunch. Started slushing up around 1 pm and there was a mass exodus from the ice. Saw several groups north and east of the motel along that north shore and one group straight off the boat ramp about 300 ft out.
Managed to get just enough hits throughout the morning to keep us interested. We fished in 36 ft and saw the fish right along the bottom between 33 and 36 ft. Had a couple come through at 20 ft several times and came up to them and watch them make one nip at the jig and dart away.
Going back up in the morning to see how it is. Rain in Heber now.
