i see them jumping in warm water up the snake at strike pretty often and see regulars catch them in the deep holes. it sounds like someone did a cannonball off a high rock. not a carp. ive seen a few jump within a 100 feet in front of me at 60+ mph and it scares the out of me. my 186 versus an 8 to 10 footer at wot would be ugly for both of us. most people use used pickled herring for them.
