There are many diffrent options out there on smokers thats for sure. I guess its all what a man wants to do and how much he wants to spend.
I personally have enjoyed and still do my pellet smoker. It s a little more money up front to purchase, however the control that I have over the heat, wood pellet flavors and such is greeat, runs on electricity, no propane.
Just my personal feelings. I do know some folks that do it the old fashioned way and man their stuff comes out top shelf.
