#4

Southern California Saltwater

Report for September 7, 2003 (Sunday)

Nice WSB bites on some boat up north.

Good YT bites off the kelp beds down south.

Hey BFT Guys!!! Right Boat Wrong Date !! BLUE HORIZON got 26 albies, 1 YFT, 18 Skipjack, and 14 Yellowtail for 12 anglers !!!! hey, theangler does Arhhhhhhhh sound about right! ha ha ha Honestly Sorry Guys !!!!

Way Up North- Avila/Monterey
Albie at Chris's

Up North- Channel Islands
Lots of little snappy red snappers and a mixed bag.

LA Area- Catalina Island
Lousy fishing for some of the sporties but I think some other boats killed 'em. Where ever the Cat went they got 137 tails for just over 25 anglers!!!

Further South- San Clemente
Sorry, no info but it can't be too bad.

San Diego- Local and Offshore
There are some good counts of yellows off the kelp beds from Helgrens. Good variety of fish offshore.

LA Local
Barracuda and bass bite picked up a bit but nothing really to get excited about.

I'm going to Catalina tomorrow whatever, wish me luck!
