lip rippin' good time @ Government Wash
#3
i switched the recipe up a bit myself, i used regular oatmeal, creamed corn, whole corn, a bit of water, flour and corn meal to bind it all together, and i also added some strawberry extract to the mix, i seen some people use strawberry kool-aid in thier mixes online so i rummaged through wifey's spices and found some strawberry extract and ran with it then let them refrigerate overnight, as far as it bringing gills in, i'm not sure. i tossed around some meal worms but no takers and i didn't see any gills. but then again there was a boatload of carp around they may have been to scared to come in close. the 2 cats my son caught were caught on corn during the feeding frenzy, and they had corn in thier bellies upon cleaning also. so i'm assuming it brought the cats in.

sn: i found transporting the chum balls in a tupperware lined with a layer of cornmeal kept them from sticking together. also i tossed the balls out about 20 feet from shore, about a 40ft "fan" pattern worked out great with a rod every 10ft. within that pattern.
