Yup here they come. Lets hope they come fast and hard. We are a month behind normal. One of my worries is if they follow the normal run pattern a large % of the springers will still be coming up when they switch to counting the run as summers. This could potentially impact our season. Our season is based on the presumtion we have about 60,000 hatchery springers heading for ID. Let say only 1/2 or so get counted within the dates that fisheries classifies them as springers and the rest get lumped into the summer run after June 18th, what will this do to our season?
