Thanks, Mike. I have a 20' SeaRunner, which is better for salmon and tuna than walleye. The deadrise is about 14 degrees, so not flat. Maybe I'll try my drift sock first. It's not practical to backtroll, as I've tried that.
The HD series uses different cables. I'm pretty sure that my radar isn't HD compatible. I'm looked at the question of updating everything to the HD stuff, but that would be expensive and a PITA, as everything now is set up and networked, ie, DSC radio, radar, autopilot, LCX 111c HD, etc. In the final analysis, I'm not at all sure changing electronics would put more fish in the boat.
