I haven't been out in the evening for a week (it was excellent), but I imagine that it is now reaching the time when morning and evening will often be the best time to fish. It was hot out there this afternoon. I fished from 1:30 until 5. I caught 10, but most were 10-12". I did get one 16" and one 14". The sun was high and the shallow fish were spooky. Both of the larger fish were caught pitching a Senko to willow bushes in about 5' of water. Water temps were in the 60's everywhere, with 68-69 in the shallow flats.
