Fishing with the kids

Memorial Day weekend is like the first day of "going to the lake season!" Everyone goes to the lake that weekend whether by boat or by walking. I remember last year we waited in line about an hour and a half to pull our boat out at Calville Bay. We even camped out a few weeks later at Govt wash and there we at least 20 other camp sites. The ideal fishing holes may be gone, or were people usually go, but there are fish all along the back and there are tons of places to access the lake by govt wash or the next dirt road about a half mile past that 4 wheel drive is not necessary.
Have to figure that with everyone pulling fish out at a particular point it may be beneficial to try and get away from the crowds for fresh water.
