Quote:this fish also decided to visit the barbie pole.
I too visited Linden Saturday - first trip to UL. I appreciate hearing your collective stories, makes me feel a little better. Saw lots of bank-tanglers, but didn't notice any catching. Hooked up a nice kitty, but he had other ideas, and wrapped himself up in some reeds before kissing my line goodbye. Caught a carp, so not skunked (but close).
So where are the white bass around Linden? TD - I needed the magic "point" you gave to the lurking kayaker! haha.
So lemme guess - you were fishing in the harbor next to the private boat dock? I think I watched you fight that cat on the barbie pole! Looked like a good workout - wurking the drag! Nice job.
Right about the time some young punk kid plunked the side of my boat with a rock! Demon spawn!!! I was in the little green flatbottom. There are some "characters" down there for sure. Busy harbor, busy lake.
At least we're all able to "enjoy" sharing everyone's music as they fire up the speakers before firing up the motors to blast out of the harbor.
Never ceases to amaze - I intentionally worked into the reeds to get out of the 'freeway' - of course some bozo in his speedboat has to zing close by - barely outside the reeds, not just once, not just twice - but back-n-forth and back-n-forth. Um - I think it's a pretty big lake, and there's plenty of room "out there"! Guess I'll just take his picture next time. And if I have to I'll photoshop a fly-down! Too funny!
