UPDATE: Where I was fishing at the pond a kid hit a 4lber and a couple 2lbers with a Senko, so I used that. had a 4lber on the line, but he let go about 6ft from shore! 
Brought in successfully a 14 inch bass weighing in at a pound 14 ounces. Started used a june bug/chartreuse tail lizard at about 8 pm, had a huge hit but no take.
