Good studies, Ron. Tournaments are legal, but I personally think some of them do a lot of harm, but probably not all. Not that I want to go out and stop all of them, just express our concerns to F&G.
Don't feel like you have to defend yourself on what you keep, but I am glad you did. Maybe it will give some others the courage to post on here what they keep. It is good to see the fishery utilized and not wasted.
It is OK for everyone to have different catch and keep or release ideals. The fisheries are managed for all.
Personally I keep panfish and to eat, but catch and release most everything else.
So for those who get irate or attack others for their stand on either "keeping or releasing" here is what I have to say........:
"PEOPLE, it is OK to keep whatever fish you want as long as it is legal!!!! Please leave the regulating of our fisheries to the Fish and Game Dept."
