light line vs. heavy line

There will NEVER be anything with the name WIRE in it on a reel I control. It is wire and has no forgiveness for mistakes. A guy working a simple bird nest out, line hooks in the trolling motor, runs taught, severs 3 fingers. Many accounts of very serious cuts and more. I hate to send a negative in to the stream here but "wire" is dangerous, and you never know who will handle the line. I will defend this position to the threat of dry land abandonment. Just give mono an 'old fashioned' chance once again.
