Ninja - if you don't want to share anything but pictures... you are just a bragger. That is fine, but let's make it clear. I personally don't get on here to brag about the fish I catch. I find it annoying when people do. (I get on here to tell others where, when, how I caught my fish in hopes that it will help other people in catching some of their own) When all you post is fish pictures, you can expect to get 20 questions. If you don't want to be hassled with so many questions... stop posting. Just an idea.
K2 - I think this is somewhat of a poor attitude. Yes, the people who have the free time, money, dedication and drive will find and catch muskies with ease. They will learn. But lets also be clear about this... muskies are not walleyes. Anybody, literally anybody, can go out and catch a muskie - it is one of the easiest fish to catch... all you do is cast and retrieve... cover water. They will hit just about anything that moves, I can't tell you how many I've had hit my crappie jigs.... So rather than getting all worked up about "rookies" getting into muskies... (and lure option really is way overrated in muskie fishing anyways)... lets provide them with information on how to handle them and get them back into the water safely....(like you have).
Not everyone is into fishing like most of us on here are. There are anglers who can only get out a few times a year. These are fisherman too. Sometimes by providing just a few bits of information, these anglers can get on fish and enjoy them too. If you don't want to share every last detail and piece of knowledge you have...fine. But don't look down on other members of our sport because they cannot get out and spend the $ and time on the water to "learn". Put yourself in their shoes... that could be you!
