Fun at Lake Lowell, or friends in velvet

Went out today to the new york canal end of the lake and slayed the cats.. nothing great big but trolled into weeds and casted a trout minnow in the openings .... lots of fun. didnt talk to to many people who did good on the bass......heading out again on saturday but i am going to venture up to the caldwell side cause i heard that they had a few big cats caught over there... any help on where to fish on that side of the lake?
