It was a fun season. I wish there had been better water but oh well. I fished 4 different rivers and caught fish on most of them. Had a great early season salmon river trip with super bright fish, an epic 3 days on the Little Salmon with 56 fish hooked and 37 landed, a 3 day jack fest on the Clearwater by kooskia, a skunkola on the SF clearwater and finally a snag filled 2 1/2 days on the SF salmon with lots of fish hooked. Landing them left something to be desired, but thats part of salmon fishing. LOL. I saved 1 slot on my card to maybe hit the Upper Salmon by Ellis.
Here a pic of my buddies 40" 22lb (21. 83lb) SF salmon he caught on Sun morn. Darn thing ran up river through a set of white water rapids almost to the next pool before turning. Picture doesnt do it justice. It was a hog!
