What some people do not understand, a 10 lb trout is going to be around 28" long or more if thin. 10" shy of a yard stick.
Holding the fish closer to the camera does make it appear big, but also no ones fingers/hands are that big. Figuring the average hand is 4" wide, you can get an estimate on the fish from that and that is in no way a 10lber unless that is where my walking weights went to.
