Reno area fishing.

Hey everyone. I just moved out to Reno to start graduate school, and I'm looking for some good places to get some fishing in. I've heard good things about Pyramid and Lahonton looks interesting, but I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice on where I can fish these from shore and any other good shore fishing spots around here. Thanks.
