Utah Lake Shoreline Cleanup, North Knolls, September 17, 2011
Utah Lake Shoreline Cleanup: Assist with Utah Lake shoreline trash cleanup at the North Knolls-Mile Marker 19 access site on the northwest side of Utah Lake. Individuals are needed to help collect trash and help transport it to local landfills and/or recycling facilities. Volunteers with trucks/trailers capable of transporting trash are encouraged to participate. We are also accepting donations of work gloves, trash bags, nonperishable snacks, bottled water, etc. to facilitate the cleanup. All participants are welcome, but those individuals capable of providing the items below are encouraged to do so. Wheelbarrows/ATVs to facilitate local collection; Truck/trailers capable of transporting trash to landfill/recycling facilities; Donation of relevant items such as work gloves, trash bags, nonperishable snacks, bottled water, etc.
