Goes to show how ignorant I am about kokanee. Went back and looked at the Idaho state record on kokes and found the record Idaho kokanee is 24.5" while the state record on a sockeye is only 24". Utah is 25" for a koke. The male that Kglissmeyer is holding up with 2 hands looks to be pushing 23 inches or so. Maybe I am wrong, but I just havent seen anything approaching that size in our Southwest Idaho waters. My perception of kokanee has been upgraded!
