Mantua Report and line question

I relize that they are just 14" trout, but 4 pound test mono on a kids spincast reel works fine for bluegill, but with anything bigger, you need somthing a little more heavy. those drag systems are not exacty top notch. The thicker the mono on those reels the more problems you get too.
