That's the area that Mtnman asked about. It's north of Cedar but most people go out to Parawan gap to see the indian petroglyph's. It's a cool area and has some other historical sites that I can't talk about because the state doesn't know about them.

The DWR is always releasing chukar so hunters can have a so called hunt but most of the time the birds are to stupid to really be called wild. If they would release them after the season, you might get healthy populations. Over all chukar habitat isn't known for being in utah. If your looking for good chukar hunting look above the snake river and columbia. Those ridges and cheat grass are perfect habitat and hold plenty birds. The only problem is most people are to lazy now days to walk the hills so the birds go in cycles from predation and disease.
