Something also to consider is the species of fish folks primarily fish for as far as intel and information sharing goes. Think you know what I'm talking about. Fish that are an abundant resource hey not an issue but fish that are not on that plain I will be the first one to belly up to the bar I'm not going to loosen the yap-trap or the typing fingers to folks who don't have a real desire to learn but only want to satisfy the bucket list.
Fish get big for a reason...anyone can consisteny catch fish but it's the 'quality' of catching a 'real' throphy and not the 'quantity' of fish one can catch by me.
Now I'll always provide basic information. So when I get a one line PM hey tell me the lure you used or hey I fished X water twice so now I have what it takes so can you tell me the lure you used...my PM back basically is it's any lure that will catch a fish.
Some folks and FWIW need to step back and reflect including get mentored on the signal they're sending. Stop being so dang defensive and pay attention to a vast majority of more seasoned anglers who do practice selective harvest, have IMHO respect, and who do spend time on the water learning fish species. Don't expect all of us to open the yapper flap trap or have our fingers literally blazing across the keyboard to post all the blow-by-blow details. Just 'taint' going to happen and I'd hope folks would understand and respect my position.
For us until we really get to know an angler and the angler has a 'real' desire including r-e-s-p-e-c-t to learn putting forth the effortwill we provide more in-depth intel...I'm not about bucket list anglers and most folks know that...this forum isn't immune to the recent issues and to be totally blunt it's only for me been noticed the last 3-4 months...I'm all for spirited discussions and a ribbing but some folks just need to sit in the
dle and think about the message they're sending...that's all I'm going to say wrt to recent happenings on this forum and again this forum isn't immune to the recent bickering and down right nasty posts...my 02 cents...
