Thank Bryce - the one I was psyched about was the sucker that took MY home-made spinner rig. (the one in the perch-pic). Simple but effective. Caught me by surprise for sure - again - pitching for panfish, and hookup a monster! I LOVE it! Drag set so loose - I didn't even realize what I had on - reel reel - going NOWHERE - then tighten down - and WEIGHT. Yeah - THAT was fun. (and don't get me wrong - I have pitched, and pitched, and pitched that water...)
The jig-grabbers were accidents, but happy accidents - I'll take it! Just wish I'd gotten the lure out of that last one - was SO close to that last wrap of the anchor cord. Damn! Pretty sure he'll find his way ok. When the perch/bass are so active - I find the second pole more of a distraction, or waste of worms. Trolling - is why/where I got it for - mostly. More options.
Never done squat for trolling out there, though I figure I might as well try when I'm on may way somewhere.
Had a bud at work that attested to the "structure" notion - not much out there, so what there is - they (bass esp) hold up to. Now without all the traffic - water should be clearing up some too. Good deal for the anglers!
