Thats correct, Mason Valley does all the stocking now a days. If you ever get a chance to fish in Yerington they have a pretty good pond scheme behind the hatchery. I think there are about 5 active ponds.....trout, crappie, bass, cats. My avatar pic is from a 5 lb hatchery trout i pulled out of Hinkson Slough, which is about 1/2 mile from the hatchery. Decent fishing in that area and some monster LMB that are feeding on the trout. I have seen (not caught 
) 8+ pound bass cruzin the reeds
