I'm gonna drag up and old post here. But same question.
I've got one Mr Jigger - and it's been great. Hoping to get another one or two. Or just make some.
Would love to see a photo of your wooden ones.
Wonder if you did make one on a taller stand - how about adding a pinwheel, or some sort of flagging that would blow and bounce more? Counterbalance would be less of a problem higher in the air...
I got a Jawjacker - and am looking at some other 'designs' on Youtube, but I think I like the jawjacker more - for that second pole set away - outside the tent... downrigger for ice.
I've tried the red wire ones that sit on a bucket, hold rod horizontal, or red-wire sits on the ground - rod at a 45. But I like something I can get the rod out of without the holding flying all over the tent - or down the hole!
(wine cork cut in two - makes a great float for the Jigger-wire!
Just saw a wire one on Ebay that attaches to an ice-sled. Question is - could I do that with a coat hanger?
