Southern California Saltwater
Report for September 28, 2003 (Sunday)
Fishing overall is slow, slower, slowing.
Except for the GIANT ALBACORE that are being hauled in on the multi-day trips. 30 to 40 pounders!!!!
Way Up North- Avila and Monterey
Up North- Channel Islands
LA Area- Catalina Island
Yellows not happening, boat traffic so so this weekend. Calicos show but...........
Further South- San Clemente
Wide Open NOT!!!
San Diego- Local and Offshore
Offshore outstanding with the local better and worse than the LA area depending upon the boat!
LA Local
Lots of little rockfish to make the meat anglers happy. Big mix of different species which I bet is kinda fun.
