"BTW we tried your FireTiger Hali style jigs with no bites so you can cross those off the list of what works in Red Pine."
[cool][#0000ff]Sheesh! Somebody gotta talk to ya about lure selection. Maybe you just left the fire tiger "holy jig" tied on after Mantua. Those is perch jigs. The silly hatchery pet rainbows in Mantua might eat them because they don't know no better. But those sophisticated high mountain trout are more discriminating. When do you suppose one of those cutties last saw a hatch of fire tiger caddis...or mayflies? Probably scared the spots offa them.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]I'm not only gonna cross those lures off the list of what to use up there. I'm gonna scratch that lake off my list of go-to spots this year. Probably be fished out by all the lurkers before I have a chance to get any holes drilled. You cold-spotters.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]By the way, glad to see you guys getting in some travel on the snow. How are the knees holding out? Ready to challenge the avalance warnings in the back country when the REAL snow hits.[/#0000ff]
