It's been another good week on the pond. We've done everything from live-bait and spoon fishing 80ft deep for Stripers, to catching Spots in 2ft of water on Jerkbaits and everything in between. Numbers have fell off a bit this week, but we're still averaging around a dozen fish per trip and most are big. Bill and I were both out yesterday w/ clients and had very similar trips on two different ends of the lake. I focused more up-lake and Bill stayed on the lower end. We both ended the day with big fish and happy clients.

The biggest Spot caught this week was a 5.97lb beast (will add pics later today) caught by Dr Ross Russell of Athens. Ross you may remember a few weeks ago caught a giant 34lb Striper on a jerkbait while on his first trip with me, I guess he just has a knack for catching big fish Great fish Ross. Also pictured is long time client/friend Bill Mosher with a 2 nice Stripers he caught Tuesday on a swimbait and Pastor Rick Shoup who smashed the Spotted Bass this week as well! Thanks again Rick. It's always a pleasure bro!!!

I want to invite everyone to come see me at the Northwest Ga Hunting and Fishing Expo next weekend, January 20-22nd. Adam Broughton former Product Manager/Enginer with Humminbird and Co-founder of biggeorgiaspots.com will be at my booth as well so if anybody has electronics questions or problems we can probably help/advize. I'll also be offering discounted gift certificates on trips that can be used anytime in 2012. Please stop by and see me, I'd love to meet you more of you guys!

Bill is available tomorrow if anyone is interested in a trip, I have this Sunday open and a couple of days open next week too so drop us a line and lets catch that trophy Spot or Striper.
