Concur. Not something that bothers ME personally, but they are out there. Amazing to see all the rants on Youtube comments at those mean-cruel anglers!

Handed my boy the eyeball scooper, but told him not to scoop em if the perch were still alive. Or put them out, then scoop. Welp - got home to clean my stack, and had a bunch of eyeless floppy fish to fillet.
At least he's willing to touch 'em! Then there's the tale of the row headless trout....
So do you sharpen that paperclip any? Maybe if you gave it a little 'tooth' with a file? The scoop tool I have has a flat-wire on either side, and though it's not REAL sharp it is kinda bevelled.
