That's a tough one to narrow down. To be honest, most of the flies I use lately are ones I make up. That being said, here are some favorites.
Hare's Ear
Prince Nymph
Pheasant Tail
Free living caddis larvae
I prefer all of these with a tungsten bead head if you can find them. Also, if you fish tail waters or spring creeks, I would add sowbugs and scuds to the list as well.
For dries, I mostly use things that are good sized and buoyant to use as an indicator with a nymph below it. Some favorites are:
Stimulator (preferably tied with foam for buoyancy)
Turk's Tarantula
Elk Hair Caddis
Humpy
Throw in some wooly buggers, mohair leeches and maybe some bunny leeches, and you're good to go.
