Spent couple hours today just riding around looking at my humminbird. Was about to leave and thought I'd at least make couple of casts. Trolled over to this one dock and made first cast down the side of it and hooked up. Fish never fought much till it got near the boat then it took off. Wasn't planning on fishing at all so didn't have my net with me. This wasn't type of heavy bass you just sling in the boat with the rod due to maybe breaking the rod but I did anyways cause I don't personally like to lip bass that has trebles in it's mouth. So one cast, one bass. Didn't weigh it but it was between 5 and 6 pounds easily. This was in around 6 to 8 feet of water and caught on a xr50.

Almost forgot this but water temps never got over 49 whole time I was there.
