I don't see why not. Most jetskiers aren't liked because of the recreational use and rudeness of some users. That is kind of like saying all cars are bad because of some rude drivers. Whatever can get you to the area you want to fish. They are noisy and hard to fish slow from, but if you fish places that you can anchor up or wind drift then it should work. Especially if you fish a lot of big reservoirs or rivers.

Myself I prefer a pontoon or tube because of the ease and maneuverability while I am fishing, but if you have areas that you need to power to, then the jetski would work.
