A caught fish is a caught fish, I say. [] I'm not prejudice on the species for catching sake - it's all fun to me to have a tug at my line. I read of this blind taste test in In-Fishermen magazine with carp, catfish and tilapia cooked the same way. Carp was preferred 1-2! Interesting... One o' these days, if a catch a carp from somewhere other than Utah Lake, I'd like to try one for the smoker.
I wish I had more experience with as many different lakes as some like yourself. But I find the small number I fish at challenging enough. [angelic] Glad to know that others are gettin' out more than me lately.
Most years I'm not anxious for the ice season to end and am at it till mid April, but this year I am looking forward to open water already, and I may make my earliest trip of the year to good ol' Utah Lake. [] I still gotta get me a bow for carp (on my "bucket list"), so I can help liberate some of the junies. [cool]
