I havent really heard of much success fly fishing on fish lake, most people fish the weed line alot of them verticle jigging tipping their jig with pearch meat the fish are deep though. there are abundant pearch there and all you need is a small hook with some worm on it to catch them. there are macks, splake, pearch, rainbows, suckers, and an occasional carp. I would recommend really bundling up though if you do float in the water, it is COLD. but if you wanted to there are many smaller streams with small wild trout that you could fly fish for in the fish lake area.
