2 years and still arguing about the same old [url "mailto:$@#%"]$@#%[/url].... Bottom line none of us like carp... if you talk to anyone who knows how to clean and cook carp... they arnt bad tasting.. but carp are a horrid fish for the bear river they do more errosion damage than any fish in Idaho. That is there worst atribute. And in by doing this they ruin habitat for almost every other native fish. But the fish and game cant do anything about it at this point. unless they poison the whole system we will have to deal with them at this point.


but my question outdoorsman is... if walleye have been in the system for 20 years why arnt they in bear lake yet?

Also bear lake was not a historicly fed by the bear river it was fed by a channel cut by Utah power to feed bear lake so they could keep the lvls up to make more power.
