Bmarsh- I know exactly where you obtained your data (BPA). I have read all of that stuff also. To take them out roughly 500-700 million. Money spent trying to improve fish numbers 6-8 billion. It is very difficult to find studies done that actually give you concrete data. There is plenty of biased information out there on both sides. There is an issue arising right now in the northwest with wind energy. BPA is discussing paying wind farms not to operate and that bill could reach 50 million a year, which will be added to your electricity bill. There are a lot of very important things to consider with dam removal. Let the logical science do the talking. Im not trying to start anything with anyone. If people are interested look it up on google and you will get plenty from both sides and then you can come up with your own opinions.
