It was one study that was refered to among a few others that I researched while doing a study on it for an energy solutions class I was taking. What most people fail to look at is what type of energy you're getting. Base load, peak load supplies ect. Wind honestly is one of the poorest energy sources to invest in because you can't predict it, when you get it great but you can't count on it as a supply. What's even Dumber is the gov offered huge tax credits to wind developers, they over built and now you have the situation we do now where they want cash even though the grid doesn't want their power. Solar is another horrible base load but great peak load supplier, you know when the sun will be up every.day and can design things accordingly.....my point is that there are many more things to look at when it comes to these arguments of well we should just rip the dams out and it will fix everything.
