any way to get power other than fosil fuels will cost more but... in the end... water, wind, solar will be around tell the end of time... they have there possitives and negatives... water,(blocks fish...they need to figure out how to allow fish passage... us here in idaho will be the first to tell you that)... Wind urealiable but in areas that it does blow often enough.. a profit will, can and has been made. i do agree that gov. is making deals that arnt backed up, but i know of 3 households in frankin county that make a profit on wind turbines... the profit isnt much.... but it sure beats a bill.... solar. my family has ran electric fences, as well as power from solar panels... the areas we have ran these have been away from normal power grids so i dont know if we would have made a profit. but it was enough to get us by... efficent or not you know the sun will rise every morning from the east and set every day from the west. you just have to be concervative... wich we should all be anyway. and plan ahead.
