Yeah, that's mighty true... I have found that if you hook them in the middle, but leave a little loop of body so it will definitely look like a crawdad, with its both ends moving kinda like a pair of pinchers... this will fool even the smartest smallie or the dumbest biggest LMB.
One question remain for us walleye fanatics- I've never caught a walleye with this crawdad worm method, seems that walleye love a straight worm on a crawler harness. Ok the question is, do walleyes eat crawdad?
