ya we go up to the idaho border and fish now that i have an idaho lisense we dont half to stop.
So you too eh? If you and your dad are into hitting some of those Preston lakes - I'm game. Got my sticker, so I'm ready to roll for some big bass, gills, trout and musky even! Not to mention hopes of monster perch!
All that traffic noise if why I've never liked camping up there much. But the river does have some great territory (long as you don't come up on a moose or a skunk!). Still nothing like hunkering under a bridge on the Valley View with semis whipping pebbles at ya!
I've never really fished above the dams, and with the tying experimentation, think it's time to start flinging some fluff!
Always liked the look of the area above Rick springs. Lots of bushes and such, but at least not so much trees by the river.
Been playing on the lower Logan lately. Pitching spinners out by the golf course. Poking around Spring Creek some more. There's some playful browns in there. Unlikely spots, but they like those culverts for protection.
There's alot of river overflow out by 6th West, and some ditches that are now rivers. Didn't find any monsters, but some fun tugs, and aggresive hits.
