Ya, I have no idea what FG is talking about. For being a fishing fanatic for 20 years, you'd think I'd pick a few things up here and there... Anyhow, I will just put a slipknot on the bend of the bugger and drop anywhere from 18 to 24 inches of tippit. I also don't use a sinking line or any weight. I tie the fly heavy and am usually fishing the shoreline, so I don't worry about it not getting down deep enough. Diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks, but this technique has always worked beautifully for me.
