Through no fault of your own, the economy has taken a hit, gas prices are killing everyone and everybody has become a little more weary of the expenses of just going fishing let alone volunteering their time, truck and boat and not be able to fish in the tourney. I second the pro-am version of this event, unfortunately too late I'm sure and I absolutely HATE fishing Deer Creek during the day more than any other lake or reservoir I have been on from CA to FL to NY and back. Launch early, get off the water by 1:00pm. You will avoid most of the power squadron and the wind-no promises [

If I can help can I fish off the back of my boat? What are the rules/guidelines for the tourney? Minimum insurance standards? Liability is also an issue, life jackets must be worn all the time, too many people are "sue happy" I'd like to help but need more info. on rules, laws of tourney, weigh in, etc.
