I thought the same thing. In fact I commented when Ron first got his boat that he would have to slide the frame far forward. The rockers are for river purpose and not a plus for stillwater. They also cause a loss of weight capacity. The more pontoon in the water, the more weight it can handle. Rivers is why the Maxxom are just turned up on the ends and why NFO went with rockers on his Assault line over the flat foot print of the Water master or Water strider, but they are rated for a large Capacity of weight.
