Every year during first ice I take my wife and kids after the whities. We take lots of hot chocolate, donuts and five gallon buckets. After filling 2/3/4 buckets we head home (all I get to do is serve hot chocolate and unhook fish). I fillet for several hours, then we package all the fillets really nice and load the kids back in the car. We take the kids to family and friends houses and let them deliver all the fish. We call it Redneck Christmas caroling. Its turned into one of my families favorite traditions, and we get a lot of positive feedback from all the recipients. We only take to people I know will use it. I feel like were doing the fishery a service by keeping a bunch. That lake has soooo many white bass.
