"Then again, I hate bikers and everything they stand for, so my biased opinion could be pure schlock."
[cool][#0000ff]I have had a whole lot of relaxed driving experiences turn into frustrating confrontations when purposefully slowed down, restrained or outright harassed by a group of bike riders who took over all lanes of a public thoroughfare and would not yield to vehicular traffic. While following such a group...at a safe distance...I had to suddenly slam on my brakes and run off the road to avoid running over several of them when one spastic dumped his bike and caused a pileup. To make matters worse, they all started yelling at me as if I had caused the problem...but none volunteered to pay for the damage caused to my car. I shoulda just run over all of them. Wished I had.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]There are lots of special interest groups (like fishermen) who become totally engrossed in their favorite pastime to the extent they ignore all other people...and consider anybody else a mere nuisance or a threat to their enjoyment. When any two such groups...fishermen and bicyclists...have an unavoidable encounter it usually results in "friction". Who's right and who's wrong? Both.[/#0000ff]
