WOW!!!! All I can seem to do right now is scratch my head and say WOW!!! We fished the night tournament last night out of HBSP and there was about 25 boats. We had in the well a three and a half, a four and a half and a seven. emoThumbsup We are thinking with three fish at a five pound average for 15 lbs we might win it or at least get a check. They were paying three places. Our big one went 7.05 lbs and was the third biggest weighed in. emoEek Then with 15.05 total for our three we thought we would get a check. Nope!!!! emoBawl Ron Willerson comes in with two six and a halfers and a four for something like 17.61 and wins it. Looks like Carter has been holding him back, he was by himself. Then there was a 16 something and then Kathy and Jason had 15.68(?). We came in fourth, first out of the money. emoBang Now keep in mind this is a three fish tournament! emoWorthy <br /><br />Bad part about the thing for us is I lost two other big fish by the boat. One appeared to be about five and a half and the other was easily over four. emoDoh If we had got in those two we would have had the win maybe. At least we would have had second. One of those nights we could not execute the plan. Our best five would have been about 21 and something. We were culling small three pounders. Most of our fish came after dark on worms. I was using a shakey and Derek was using a t-rig. He caught the four and I caught the seven and three that we weighed in. We both caught a bunch more. Nice night with a lot of fish. Should have done better but could not keep them on. emoMad <br /><br />It is hard to bitch about fifteen pounds with three fish but tonight was just one of those nights. We did have a very good time and caught a lot of bass.<br /><br />Congrats to the ones that got a check. Kathy had the bigget seven pounder. It was something like 7.68 I think.
